Generating Client Certificates

The IDMS communicates with the CMS via mutually authenticated TLS session established with a digital client certificate that is trusted by the organization's infrastructure. This client certificate requirements are listed below:

The client must have the following usages:

• Client Authentication (1.3.6.1.5.5.7.3.2)

• Digital Signature

To get started without having to customize certificate templates, the default “User” certificate template can be utilized to create the client certificate.
