Installation overview
The installation of the server and workstation software requires the sequence below. It is critical that this sequence is installed because each progressive install step depends on the on the installation step before it.

System Preparation |
Verify all the necessary components (database, IIS, client certificates) are ready for the install. See the Server Installation Prerequisites section |

Operator Configuration |
Issue and install the IDMS, CMS and Web Server SSL Certificates |

Binary Installation |
Installs all the necessary binaries and database scripts for the IDMS to function. See Install the HID PIV IDMS Application section. |

SSL Configuration |
Sets up the application security for the IDMS |
