Resetting YubiKey Device
Overview
The YubiKey device can be reset to a factory state. This is useful of the organization desires to reuse the YubiKey.
| Step Number | Procedure | Example |

| 1 | Log in to the IDMS Go to PIV/Manage and retrieve the user that encoded the YubiKey, | |
| 2 | Click the Credentials Tab In the Credentials table, locate the user, click the Action button and select Terminate. This process will revoke the credentials that are on the YubiKey |

| 3 | Next, press the cancel request button to remove any issuance requests for the YubiKey |
|
| 4 | Next, press the Delete device button to remove the YubiKey device association with the user. |
|
| 5 | Next click Reports, Devices, press Read Device |
|
| 6 | Next, press Reset Device to remove any card management keys from the IDMS. |
|
| 7 | Finally, use the YubiKey utility to restore the device to factory settings. |
