Reporting Guide
Robust IDMS reporting features provide insights into the ID proofing activities and credentialing performance occurring within the infrastructure. It allows managers to quickly understand how many credential activities have occurred, real time system performance activity, and certificate lifecycle states.
Identity Proofing
Information pertaining to the request, enrollment, and approval of an individual applying for a credential. This information enables the full history of the individual to be reviewed including when events took place and the operator that performed the respective task.
Credentialing
The IDMS reporting platform provides a way to easily view the credentialing activities occurring in the credential issuance environment to actively monitor operations and simplify compliance reporting. The reports enable the operations staff to quickly determine how many credentials are currently being generated, proactively detect any system outage events, and improve the utilization of the system by understanding usage trends.
Usage of the CMS Report Tools
The reporting tools have been designed to provide the operations staff with the information required to distribute and manage credentials more effectively. For example, with the IDMS reports, administrators can:
Forecast upcoming activations and credential updates.
Obtain a real time status of deployment activities.
Determine whether users are not activating their credentials in a timely period.
Validate a user has a proper request and card binding for remote activation.
Determine the number of active credentials that are issued.
See which card policies are in use.
Understand which cards are close to expiration.
View when the credentials were issued.
Automatically alert users that their credentials are about to expire.
Report list
Report Name | Details of Report |
Total Active Credentials | Lists all the credentials that are currently active along with credential status, user information, certificate expiration, and credential policy utilization. |
Pending Action Report | Lists the pre-credentialing requests to show how many cards are awaiting an action such as activation, unlock, or update. |
Certificate Expiration Report | Lists the credentials that are approaching expiration. |
CMS Configuration Change | Lists the changes that have been made to the CMS configuration along with the operator responsible for the change. |
CMS Logon | Lists the operator logon history. |
CMS Credential Events | Lists the detailed credential encoding history. |
System Operations
This data provides an enterprise view of the aggregate operations of the proofing and credentialing platform. It provides insight into the overall transactions being performed.
